Blanche was born in Rustboro City and lived there for most of her life. She never went on a Pokemon Trainer Journey, but actually studied a lot about the environment and pokemon. She later joined a university to learn more, where she met Maxie and Archie and became friends with the both of them.

One year, Blanche, Maxie, Archie and a bunch of other students travel to Alola for a few months as part of a student exchange program. While chilling at the Beach, Blanche noticed something floating in the water and swam over to it, only to noticed that it was a Litten. She tried rescuing the poor pokemom, but didn't planned that out well enough, causing her to nearly drown. However she ends up getting saved by Maxie. She decides to keep the Litten, which becomes her first Pokemon Partner.

Over time, Blanche and Maxie fall in love and got into a relationship, but since they both are rather stubborn, they got into a lot of arguments, turning their relationship more into a on-off thing.

Shortly before graduation, they both had a huge argument, ending in them not really talking anymore. However after Graduating, Blanches moves away from Hoenn to Kalos.

Years later, now just over 30 years old, Blanche hears about Team Magma. Since she still remembers her nearly drowning experience, the decision to join the Team is quickly made, which means she moves back to Hoenn.

It takes Blanche a while to find the Headquarters of Team Magma, but as soon as she manages to, two Grunts notice her and plan to attack her. She manages to convince them that she wants to join the Team, so they bring her to their Boss who quickly turn out to be Maxie, which was a schock for both of them.

After a long talk with Maxie about her leaving Hoenn and also both of their feelings, she joins Team Magma as a Grunt, but quickly gets promoted to Admin.
