Loud and proud, brash and crass. Vanellope is not in the slightest subtle, preferring showiness and drama to most ends. She knows how to be a little more wily than she lets on despite that, and often she's more clever with her showiness than it appears—it's an act all the way down with her, masks on masks.
Sugar still has morals deep down, but sugar stifles them with her "boss"'s numbing remnant. All she wants is to be noticed, seen, and remembered, and she thinks carving her place in history by being the maker of a tragedy nobody could ever forget is the way to go, thanks to her "boss"'s influence.
She often has a soft spot for people who she thinks to be like her, beneath all her flamboyance, and seeks to help them realize they can do what they want in this world. She's still human in the end. Capable of kindness.
