Arki is a female possum “portal lord” who works with another portal lord, Snitchy; they are to control portals which are essential to their universe’s stability. The portal themselves travel through many dimensions and, if destroyed, would lead to a domino effect that totals in the universe collapsing. Ultimately, it is not enough for only one or two people to take the responsibility and risks of keeping these portals stable. Arki and Snitchy are only one pair of thousands of appointed portal lords tasked with keeping portal stability intact.
Arki is more affectionate and calmer in general, though the stress of her job does tend to eat away at her, especially since she’s in a relationship. She tries to be more easygoing in life, and her mellow, almost carefree personality often contradicts with Snitchy’s more rash and aggressive attitude. On top of this, they are also in a relationship, which adds more problems to the table. They love each other a lot, but the stress of their job oft puts a split into their lives.
