He lost the bottom half of his right arm due to letting some prisoners out of his mercenary group he works for, after realizing what Julian had done, Monarch the leader had taken Julian’s punishment into his own hands and sedated him to bring to another researcher. What Monarch planned was to experiment on Julian for his incompetence hence the new metal arm.
