As the middle child, Mai is taking life with the punches. Although she has a hard time fully deciding what she wants, she keeps her focus on whats far into the future rather than whats infront of her. Her wavering judgement for the weather may be unpleasant for the angels who are trying to keep the schedule predictable, but her presence is really adored asides from that. Mai-Lan is the spitting image of her mother. She is kind, welcoming, and creatively inclined. Just because she is sweet doesn't mean that she doesn't hold grudges though. Mai welcomes upredictability with open arms, she sees a kind of beauty in the unknown.
