Raith

Many would probably consider Raith insane, being completely unphased by danger and taking nothing seriously, simply waltzing through life with a spring in xir step and a smile on xir face. He has absolutely no consideration for how his actions may affect others and, when asked, could hardly recall a thing that had happened in the past.

Although born in Urmosa, xe were always more interested in what happened on the surface. Xe managed to win a few bets with people and gained access to a way to travel between Urmosa and the overworld, aided by the fate assigned to them by the Creator. Xe set up xir own magic shop, claiming it as an embassy of Urmosa (although it actually has no real political connection to it, apart from Raith running it) to trick humans into signing away their souls. With the power of several human souls under xem, xe quickly rose to be one of the most powerful demons in Urmosa, landing a spot in Hell's Five. Out of all of them, he is the one that is in Urmosa the least.

Raith has the ability to bind a person's soul using a contract. Xe use this on demons in Urmosa, to force them to work for xem when xe are on the overworld. Yet more commonly, xe use it on humans, running a magic shop on the overworld. Xe promise humans real magic and can transfer the power through the deal. In return, xe claim the person's soul, damning them to an afterlife in Urmosa and only allow the human to live for another five years As Raith tends to walk the overworld, xe are able to hide xir demon features, blending in with humans. However, when a soul signs a contract with xem, they are suddenly able to see xir demon features, even while they are hidden.
