Kozmotis
Introduction
Kozmotis is a rather strange Yokai, raised by a human couple it wasn't until he was a teen that he truly learnt what he was and what life could be like him. It does feel strange for it to consider itself as a Yokai, he knows that it is what he is, but that's not what he's spent his whole life being seen as so it's a big change.
A Dimension Hopper, he doesn't really like to stay in the same place for long, but he does always come back to his home dimension to see his parents - being raised by humans has given him a harder life, but that doesn't mean he loves them or what they did for him any less.

Alchemy is very much a thing in Kozmotis' home universe and something he's spent a long time studying. This is where his powers come from.
- He doesn't like to fight, so has no weapons training
- To return anywhere [portal or dimension] he needs to have an item from that place
- He has a human 'disguise' but doesn't like using it anymore, prefering to be himself.
History
Kozmotis was orphaned as a tiny Yokai on the surface of Earth which led him to being taken in by a kindly human couple. They raised him as best as they could with no knowledge of the Yokai world or how exactly Koz was going to grew. One thing they did manage to search out was a cloaking broach so that he could be educated and socialized. Meaning he was very much raised as a human and it took him quite some time to actually get in touch with his Yokai routes.
Act I - Childhood
Kozmotis' childhood was rough but full of love.
While his human parents tried their hardest to convince him that he was special important and their beautiful son no matter what he actually looks like, he knew that he was different and odd and that needed to be hidden from other people.
Not long after his parents managed to source the cloaking broach for him did he stop taking it off, not showing his true Yokai form even when he was all alone. He felt like something inside of him was wrong and missing but never brought it up to his parents as he adored them and didn't want to ruin what he did have with them.
Act II - Discovery
When he became a teenager, this feeling of emptiness had become worse for Kozmotis, and he desperatly wished to fill it.
So as soon as his parents allowed and trusted him to go out alone he went searching. He wasn't sure for what it was that he was searching, it was pretty sure there were others out there like him, but he wasn't even sure if that was the answer he wanted.
It is the answer he got however, as he blindly stumbled into the Hidden City. Shocked to see so many other creatures like him, though he still hesitates to drop the disugise, it was basically part of him at this point.
However, his naivety won over a Yokai couple and the two offered him help and advice about everything. Eventually he did spill his life to his 'new mothers'and they were fond of these humans that took him in and tried there hardest. Though as of yet these two sets of parents haven't met each other, though he does confess his discovery of the hidden city to his parents and the women who look after him there and they're nervous but happy for him.
Act III -Now you see me
Kozmotis' discovery of the Hidden city brings out the child his parents once knew, even if he is now a young man. They're a little apprehensive about the risks he now takes and what that could mean but he always reassures them that he is being careful.
It is also around this time he truly discovers his passion for Alchemy, something both his sets of 'parents' warn him to be careful about. However, it soon becomes clear to anyone who watches him that this is part of him and there's little to worry about.
Even now Kozmotis still seems to be studying and improving his skills as a magical Alchemist as he teleports around and dissapears across dimensions. He's pretty sure his portals and dimension hopping is just the same ability but pushed across power levels. Even now he's still studying, still learning, seeing how far he can push his abilities.
Design
Main Design / Actual Design
Kozmotis always wears his leg 'protectors' and normally has his arm ones on, alongside his belts.
He does not tend to wear his mask, unless if it is a dimension he's not bee too before.
He no longer tends to wear his cloaking broach because it has learnt to be and is now proud of himself as a Yokai. But sometimes it does come in handy.
