A social outcast

In a world of developing diversity within its species, as well as the presence of magic, Ava was unfortunate enough to be born within the species considered to be socially infamous and despised. Even being born to a bloodline of siren royalty, her childhood remained unpleasant. She had grown to learn the benefit and necessity of being alone in life, and the power in becoming the demon humans seemed to believe she was. Her flourishing resentment towards humans, met with her inferiority created by her own family, had left the adolescent Avarice at a loss towards her own identity and purpose. The only way she had ever known how to express these feelings was through hated.

Even now, returning to the roots of her education from quite a few years of homeschooling, Ava is seething with hatred and stress. Only, now, she’s found a friend.
