Lost in society

Within a world where two races have remained divided for centuries, there was little in such a world that could be seen as worse than a child born of both. Hailey had never asked for such a fate, yet it seemed she must have been deserving of it. Sure, she’d always been able to pass for one of the local sirens from afar, though it was clear she never belonged to them. Born to a single siren mother, lucky enough to be surrounded by warmth and love in the worst of times, she had still managed to get by. She had always been determined to reclaim her own life and strive for her own goals, regardless of the endless obstacles ahead.

Hailey still does her best to move forward...though, finding the comfort of company from another outcast became more motivating than anything else.
