Svinny knight of chetyrekhlistnik
Svinny is the hard-boiled heir to the Beak Fortune, an enormous array of platinum, cash, and assets illegally obtained by the Four Feathers mafia over the course of its operations. He is the sole child of the current godfather, known only by his pseudonym 'The Night Swan', and has been raised from birth expecting to one day take over his father's 'business'.
But life had other plans. After seeing a mysterious figure by the graveyard, Svinny found himself on a wild goose chase to uncover this strange, tall bipedal's identity. He laid a trap for them in the graveyard, culminating in Chet getting caught up in a rope while Svinny descended upon him, trusty shiv clutched in his beak.
Much pleading and explanation later, and Svinny learned that his world was one of many - a Timeline, a huge swath of spacetime that had been born into existence and was being watched over by otherworldly beings. And Chet was one of those otherworldly beings.
Chet, sitting before him, tears in his eyes, sniffling.
Clearly he needed a guard.
Svinny has, at least temporarily, bid his comrades adieu. As a trained killer and excellent fighter, it is his duty to protect one of the gods of creation (and maybe extort otherworldly secrets from him in the process). He spends every waking hour at Chet's side, scaring off would-be attackers and solidifying their bond.
