History

The firstborn son of the newest (and final) Hertz generation, Marcel was spoiled as a child. At least, until Dietrich was born on the same day as him, three years later. His parents attention fell on his younger brother as he struggled through school, leaving Marcel to his own devices. He was handsome and relatively popular as a person who was charming, outgoing, and generally sociable. However, underneath his calm, collected exterior, resentment for his brother festered as his parents decided to prep him to take over their vampire lineage when he came of age. It grew for years, until, once Marcel graduated high school, he snapped.

After forcing another vampire in their lineage to turn him, Marcel killed his parents, intent on taking over then and there. Dietrich caught him, called a family friend, and feebly threatened him. Marcel nearly attempted to kill his brother in a final act of retaliation. He convinced the remainder of the vampires to come to America with him under the guise of training with other seasoned vampires, though it was really to satiate his desire to become the most powerful vampire--and take anyone else down in the process.

Now, he is in Torncreek... possibly trying to end what he started?

Personality

Marcel is a cruel person. He cares little of others, except when he is socially obligated to do so. He trusts no one. He likes no one. Above all else he loathes his brother's existence. And at the top of his clan, he is alone. Forever.

Cold and calculating, Marcel would be distant from others even if he did like them. Even in school he had few friends, the only people close to him being those who it was socially beneficial to be on good terms with. Every ounce of kindness Marcel acts on is a charade.
