Named for the ring that can appear around the sun due to reflection on ice crystals in the clouds.

Halo is the daughter of Flash Sentry and Sunburst! In appearance she looks most closely like her grandfather Sunspot. Halo was born at perihelion, the closest one in 100 years. On that same day a Lunar Eclipse occurred. With the moon completely in the shadows, and the sun at it's most powerful this unicorn was born with a unique and powerful magic. This magic is attatched to the sun.

She gains the clouds on her flank and the long hair after she becomes an alicorn.
