Mean Girl

A brand new adopt collab between me and TenTen! I love doing adoptable collaborations with them because their character designs have such a unique charm to them. They're full of so many good ideas that are easy to work with and build upon. For this collab I gave them the prompt of making a mean girl character, they gave me a rough sketch, and I finalized the reference with my personal edits. I adore this design, it's one of my favorites I've worked on! 

OPTIONAL STORY AND FLAVOR

• She's the typical mean girl in school you see in every piece of school media out there. She loves fashion, popularity, and money. However, while some may call her shallow, she calls herself tactical. In her eyes, she's just doing what she needs to do to survive in society. She's willing to face anyone who gets in the way of her goals. What exactly is her ultimate goal in the end? Something no one would expect.
• Not only does she have the looks, but she also has the brains and brawn. This girl excels in everything she does, whether it be sports or academics. The speed at which she completes her tests is insanely fast, and her track record in the gym could be submitted as a world record. It's almost like she isn't human.
• Plot twist: she's not human hehe. She's an alien! Hence the sparkly space theme she has going on. She enrolled in school in hopes of finding a way to get the missing parts of her ship back. The missing spaceship parts she wants to get are part of the prom queen trophy, which is why she's trying to become the most popular kid in school. OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. There should be some kind of college equivalent to prom queen if you wanna make her an adult. 
• I like to imagine that the story she's part of involves her true identity being discovered by another student. They form an unlikely friendship and work together to help her go back home.
