Born a normal bear, Bjorn got bitten by a rogue bear-wolf while out hunting on a full moon. This, unfortunately, gave the bear sentience, and allows him to turn into a human every full moon. He still fully speaks in bearish noises even in human form - the only one able to understand his growls being the bee Sincere, who he has become close friends with and has guarded since meeting.
