To most strangers, Abran would appear almost emotionless. His facial expression doesn't change much, even the tone of his voice is quite level. But in reality, he does experience a wide range of emotions, he just doesn't express them in a traditional manner. Some might thing its related to trauma from his past, but its not. He's always been this way, and those who know him and are close to him are very good at understanding his emotions.

Abran doesn't stand out much from the other people in his area, aside from the fact he is only 5'4". He is almost the same height as his younger brother, and the two have an 4 year age gap. He's been teased about it, but honestly he doesn't really care much.
His other most notable trait is the large scar on his face. He got it when in the mines one day - he fell down a pit and some rocks tore his face open. However, given his profession - and his location - scars are rather common.

Growing up Abran's life was fairly peaceful, despite the fact he lives at the bottom of the mountains. The looming threat of the Revigors was present, but there had been no active battles. That was until they decided to attack. Abran was 13 at the time, and his father was on his way back from the mines when the attack began. He knew his father hadn't brought any weapons, having gotten too used to the peace, so he grabbed his fathers short sword and went to find him. Unfortunately, he didn't quite make it. Right as he find his father, he is forced to witness his death too. By instinct alone Abran survived, running away. But that memory lives with him to this day. As does that short sword he grips so desperately.

fun facts
- Abran's initial design came from a random character generator, but most of them didn't make sense to his setting. The only part kept in the end was his height.
- The crystal on Abran's earring holds significance. All his siblings, save Dedan, were gifted these crystals by his late father. When he passed, they fashioned them into jewellery so that they could keep it with them.
