Notes:
Even though he's a tengu, Kouya is unable to fly or transform fully due to an incident in his childhood (he's completely unable to utilize his wings). Despite this, he does have a partially-transformed state and can still use some magic.
Kouya has a part-time job at a flower shop. He also does odd-jobs around town, mostly helping out the elderly.
All the children of the village adore Kouya and follow him around when he's out and about.
He and his sister Koharu were orphaned at a very young age and taken in by Hiroki. The two of them are twins but have no idea which of them is the older sibling, so they each refer to the other one as if they were (he calls her Kou-nee, she calls him Kou-nii).
He prefers rather laid-back clothes, mostly hakama over kimono. Occasionally, he wears t-shirts and pants, but mostly traditional garb. He can also be seen in a miko (shrine maiden) uniform from time to time, as the place where he and his family live used to be a large shrine (he has no idea the clothes are for girls haha).
