Just A Normal Human Person

Given the name "Leo" upon immigration, Leo is an anxious but loving alien lifeform living casually in downtown New York City. Due to "everyone in New York looking a little funny", his appearance is never questioned, but being around those he doesn't know still makes him awkward. He has an impeccable fashion sense, but prefers to wear muted colors due to his enhanced colored vision, similar to that of a mantis shrimp. He enjoys music of all kinds, and has found himself quite dexterous with a guitar despite never having touched one before his recent move to New York.

He's generally an extremely shy creature, preferring the company of his boyfriend Zeph to any human contact. Zeph keeps him grounded and stable in awkward situations, and having them both be foreigners in New York doesn't hurt either.

As a shy creature, Leo practically never speaks of his home planet or culture. Whether this is due to fear of judgment, lack of words, or out of a desire to distance himself from his distant kin is unclear, but no amount of prying is able to make him crack. Maybe someday he'll be willing to be more open about his origins, but for now he's just another human of New York.
