A Sylvari Necromancer with a penchant for blood.

A well liked member of the Pact, Harkin - or "Hark" as their friends called them - was a part of an efficient and tight-knit recon team. The team spent many missions together and, for Hark, was the loving family they dedicated their heart and life to.

During the events of HoT, Hark and his team were sent to scout Maguuma Jungle ahead of the Pact airships. While they were fortunate to not be on the ships when they crashed, their doom still came hurtling down on them. 

Hark was the only sylvari of their group, and although strong-willed, the call of Mordremoth still managed to grip them. They fell and turned on their once close friends. His necromancy powers were twisted and his new corrupted magic now fed on their own vitality and blood. Now to use their magic or even just survive, they must feed on blood. And his very first victims were his former teammates.

After the events of HoT, and after being freed of Mordremoth's control, they now spend their time wandering Tyria, or disgused among the streets of Lion's Arch, filled with the painful guilt of what they did in Maguuma.
