Danielle was born and raised on a remote pokémon breeding farm in the Orre region, leaving her with difficulty speaking Common. She is rather lanky and slightly clumsy but has good strength and endurance from helping at the farm since she could walk. Despite her lack of contact with the greater world, she won a (pity) scholarship hosted by Team Valor, who are the main customers of her family's farm.
