A man of few words, Downfall has always been known for his intellectual capacities, and also his silence. Even in his younger years, there has always been something that had captivated him like no other; space.

BEGINNINGS

Growing up in a small community as an owlet is not exactly what someone would wish for in life; excessive pressure from everyone that you know to succeed will break most people, but some will even toughen up from it. Downfall was no exception to the latter, managing to keep up to expectations and proving his worth among them all. Mathematics were a piece of cake, studying became his main hobby, and no time could be wasted on other activities. Deep down, however, he knew that his fate was not to be the world’s greatest scientist, or the most knowledgeable individual in the world, but rather something much simpler. His research from studies led him to learn about all kinds of lifestyles, professions, lives of all kind that he, too, could have.

His interest for everything surrounding the universe and space, mainly the stars, never really disappeared. Moving out of town to be able to live close enough to institutions that would provide him the best education to finally become an astronomer was quite the change, but everything could be worth it if he could reach his goals. Getting into college and university wasn’t too hard for him, but there was one thing that was amiss. Now tasked with projects and assignments in large teams, Downfall had to go out of his way to do all the research and work with others accompanying him. While he did get similar instructions for teamwork in previous years, he simply focused on assigning others a task so that they could all do the work individually before compiling it all together. Being asocial certainly was going to bring him more trouble than not now, and he now had to coordinate even more work with even more people. Visibly cool-headed in most situations, avoiding conflict like the plague was his best strategy to survive the harsher years of higher education. Despite everything, he’s always been quick to get stressed, but he’s gotten more and more used to hiding it as time goes. Now able to keep up with others, quick interactions at the bar or library became acquaintances, which became friends. Finally growing a trusted circle of peers, Downfall saw his life change for the better, despite being the mandated peacemaker of his group. Managing to find a job in the midst of his studies proved to be successful, and he could now be closer than ever to the life he wanted.

CURRENT

Working as a postman and pretty satisfied with his service, he can be mostly seen delivering mail when he’s not terribly busy with his studies. Downfall is still an awkward and reserved owl, mostly keeping quiet with others as much as he can. His calm demeanor makes him look much more serious and confident than he is, and he often has to deal with the consequences of that impression everyone has of him. He can mostly be seen in libraries, reading any book he can get his talons on, or stargazing at night.
