Leader of Forestclan, obsessed with maintaining his own power and the "purity" of his clan.  Having grown up with the narrative of "you are born into power, you  deserve the power and control of the leader position" by his dad Elmstar who was the previous leader and his mentor, Eagle is understandably messed up. What makes him the villain of this story is his refusal to change, even though his  closest friend and deputy is Pineleg rogue-born - the power his  beliefs and position afford him are too enthralling to change and actually, yknow, take care of his whole clan and not just his favourite pure inner circle... a circle that includes Pineleg. He's a hypocrite through and through.

Arrogant and prideful, does not respect Deepclan in the least specifically because they take in Forestclan exiles, and lords his murder of Shinepool (who was not Forestclan, but was attacked by a lynx and thus was not worthy in the eyes of Starclan to Eaglestar) over Lightstar whenever possible. An event that was similar to his father’s killing of Dawnpelt, but without the expansion excuse.  His early warmongering days as deputy to his father did not treat him well, causing him to lose multiple lives to sickness and old injuries that acted up at exactly the wrong moment, causing him to fall. On his last life. 

Formerly Eagleheart. Became Deputy through nepotism and nepotism only. Estranged brother to Fennelbelly and Swiftscar. He does not acknowledge Swiftscar’s existence at all. Actually asks elder Doveclaw for advice due to her social standing in the clan, though does not realize how much her advice sways him. She's part of his pure circle, and he sees her as his equal. She sees him as a soft-minded child leader.
