Ihrin is a bit of an odd duck in the Crusade, technically being part of an outside organization. A paladin of the Order of the Golden Dawn, Ihrin has dedicated his life to protecting the defenseless and innocent. Originally he had been on a sort of pilgrimage seeking out a place to settle and become a defender of the weak; after months of aiding travelers and nomadic herds, Ihrin caught with of the Crusade. Inspired by their creed, he traveled north to meet with their leader and officially join their ranks.

As a member of the Order of the Golden Dawn, Ihrin holds light and life in high regard. He prefers to settle disputes peacefully, but has learned that sometimes blood must be shed to prevent further conflict. He takes no pleasure in slaying monsters, but he understands that many cannot be reasoned with and letting them live means more unicorns falling to their claws.
