Vivian grew up in a very loosely Christian household with her mother and father. Her mother Cora was a very fun, adventureous, and kind woman, but also very stern when need be. She taught her how to sew, and one day jokingly called her "needles", not knowing it would stick. Her father Elias was just as playful as her mother, and he absolutely adored her, working hard so he could buy her anything she wanted. Though his work as an editor kept him busy, nothing could ever be more important to him than his daughter. They frequently had family outings such a picnics, or going on drives, and they all love spending time together. When she was 15 she begged and begged for a cat, and eventually her parents got her one, which she named Church, they're practically inseperable.
You'll still find Needles at those family outings, as she loves spending time with her parents;however theres someone else she also loves being around now, her girlfriend Naomi. She has a job at the bookstore in town, and the owner basically allows her to decorate however she likes. She has her own apartment where she and Church spend most of their time, her favorite spot is her bay window, you'll often find her there reading or sewing.
While Needles loves to cook and make drinks, her main goal is to be an author. Her fathers love of writing and editing rubbed off on her, and now she either wants to use her skills to write books, or possibly lyrics and become a musician.
