Kynlas is... just... nuts, is the best way I can remember or explain him
He's a scientist that focuses on manipulating the mind and seeing how people tick
but he acts mostly normal until he's caught interest of someone and then he's a smooth, suave little shite that'll sell you a rock and make you think it's a diamond
