Jason was previously one of the leading generals at the human base, known for his ruthless nature and ability to get the job done quickly and efficiently, despite breaking rules and ignoring regulations. He climbed the ranks fast, quickly earning a reputation of being one of the best, regardless of the anger from higher ups that saw him as a rebellious child.

With his two adoptive sons, Kaine and Aidyn, boys he'd rescued and raised early on in his military career, he discovered a couple of what seemed to be humans in an abandoned, run down house in the near demolished city nearby. Before anyone else knew, it had become clear to Jason that he had invited a couple vampires to live amongst them...

Even so, Jason wound up falling in love with the eldest vampire, Razael, discovering... after some difficulty with the boy, that it felt like he'd known the boy all his life. The relationship seemed rocky and violent, their first true meeting starting and ending with shooting the boy to make sure he didn't run away. As it turned out, Razael liked the attention. Who knew?

Aidyn, Jason's youngest, fell in love with the spritely little pink-haired assistant, Lyrus, marrying him after quite some time of the fatherly Jason showing his protective side over the little lavender haired boy. No one was surprised he was careful of who touched and came in contact with the boy, who's abilities aided in his medical prowess, but also tended to allow him to risk his life and save those he felt connected to.

Unfortunately, Aidyn became far too overwhelmed and risked his life to save Lyrus, causing the man to have to change Aidyn to keep him alive. The situation frightened Lyrus, causing the man to coax the newly made vampire Aidyn into stepping down from his post as Head Meic and giving it over to Lyrus, teaching the young nurse everything he knew.
Kaine himself fell in love with Razael's youngest brother, Nexus, who wasn't a complete vampire. He was saved by the fact he was only a third vampire and merely resembled a human in eating habits and physical strength. Azrael, the middle brother, came by on occasion from the Vampire base to feed him, having to do so in his sleep as Nexus wasn't a big fan of being one.

Things became more difficult for this couple once Nexus was harmed and had to be fully turned to prevent his death, frightening the more sensitive of the brothers into latching onto Kaine. Even so, Nexus was still difficult to feed and had to be gently coerced or tricked into feeding... usually only allowing it if Kaine fed with him or from him.

With Kaine's abilities that made him a berserker, Nexus was the only one alive able to snap the big brute out of his rampaging trances and pull him back into the protective bear he was over Nexus. Azrael and Razael both came to realize the safest place for Nexus was beside the big Berserker, deciding to let him stay with him.

Jason wound up having to bring in a big guard for Azrael after the boy was retrieved from his own base after being charged with treason for going over to the Human base so often. Azrael found himself falling for the big albino vampire that seemed to act more cat-like than he did human... or vampire. The eldest finally found someoen to protect HIM for a change, as he'd spent his entire life trying to protect Razael and Nexus from everything. He couldn't deny that Jason had become like a father to him, seeking guidance from the elder whenever he was unsure what to do with his brothers or about the situations he found himself in.

It finally seemed as if Jason had found the family he'd always wanted, even with his ex-wife, Jennifer, lowkey tormenting the ever jealous Razael by simply existing... though she'd been his secretary for as long as he could remember. Jason wound up marrying Razael and ending that problem as everything in the base turned to joy... even after Jason was near fatally wounded in a mission, forcing Razael to change him into a vampire... one that had Razael and Azrael's black scleras.

It was as if everyone found their other halves. Everything had fallen into place perfectly...

Sort of...

For two years, Jason reigned as the most feared General by Vampire and Human alike as his family stood strong together. However, not everything was a perfect fairytale between them... causing turmoil in the otherwise wonderful family.

After their second year of marriage, Razael decided he'd had enough of being the lover of a military man that was always trying to protect his family from those that came after them. The world must have become too tame for him and Razael went back to the Vampire base to rule there instead, taking over leadership from Lyrus's brother, Serith, and forcibly bringing his brothers back with him.

Razael had effectively torn the happy family in half and waged war with the humans all in one stride.

Unfortunately for Razael, Serith's head torture expert and lover, Ryker, got ahold of Azrael and Nexus and killed the two boys in front of Razael, causing the already feisty vampire to go insane and kill Ryker, Serith, and Lyrus, who'd come to rescue the two boys with Jason, Kaine, and Aidyn.

Kaine and Aidyn were broken at the sight of their murdered lovers, leaving Jason to have to stop the rampaging vampire... resulting in the death of Razael by his own hands.

[Now]:

After Razael's death, Jason became the leader of both the Vampires and the humans, uniting the two fronts and keeping the peace for years after those horrible events that led to him being in power.

Now, Jason left the human base to live in a mansion settled directly in between the two, a beacon for hope and peace for both vampire and human alike... and every other creature.

To him, the mansion felt like an exile, his heart still heavy from the death of his beloved and his sons' lovers and the mourning his two sons are still enduring in their own ways... Aidyn worst of all.

Aidyn kept himself in a forced, self-incuced coma to live in another world where he still had his Lyrus and his big brother still had Nexus... Occasionally, he wakes to go check on Jason, his subconscious mind knowing that none of it was real, but he couldn't live without the man he'd married.

Kaine kept himself away from everyone, exiling himself somewhere far away from vampires and humans, living as a hired mercenary to take his anger and pain out on those others want killed.

• ● Jason's Rifle
  It uses 5 rounds, each one adding onto the last's effects
  Has already been used once before on his previous lover, Razael, whom he believed to be the love of his life... He was terribly wrong.

  ● 1st bullet
  Left Shoulder:
  Inflicts a shocking pain, not too bad, just more a warning
  Triggered by a lever on the gun
• 
  ● 2nd bullet
  Right Shoulder:
  Inflicts pain, doubling the pain before
  Triggered by a second lever on the gun
• 
  ● 3rd bullet
  Abdomen:
  This one hurts like a bitch and can drop the bearer to the floor in shocked pain.
  Considerably more crippling.
  To this point, the bullets can't be removed but with an antidote Jason keeps on his person or locked up that dissolves the bullets.
  Gun is no longer needed to trigger them
  It listens to voice commands from this point.
  Now the bearer can't leave more than about 500 feet from Jason/the gun nor can they touch the gun without getting paralyzed by agonizing pain.

  Thighs:
  At this point, they come as a pair.
  He'll shoot twice to seal the deal, binding the person to him entirely,
  lengthens the range the person can go away from Jason and the gun
  Makes it so Jason can vocally command the other's body, not the mind, should he add a seal to them both
  Typically done once Jason's infatuated with the person...
  It's more meant as a protection at this point, since it allows Jason to sense where the other is and stop them should they be the ragey/berserk type.
  Should either of them get too far from the other, it can cripple them both, making it a drawback to do it, but the upsides outweigh the downsides (to Jason at least).
