Profile

P E R S O N A L I T Y

  • Curious / Hardy / Determined / Adaptive / Polite   +

  • Curious - Living on a farm all her life has left her with little outside experience, but she’s always ready and eager to learn and try new things, no matter how strange or scary they may seem.
  • Hardy - Also coming from being raised on a farm, Egg’s a sturdy and tough little lady who isn’t afraid to put her back into things to get them done.
  • Determined - Was taught at a very young age to never give up, and still holds this very near and dear to herself; would likely rather die trying than quit something.
  • Adaptive - Life throws a lot of things at you that you can’t predict! Her Devil Fruit has taught her this several times over now. Very good at rolling with the punches and seeing how things play out.
  • Polite - A bit strange for a pirate, but it’s just how she was raised. Egg treats everyone with respect, regardless of whether they deserve that respect or not.

  • Oblivious / Distant / Unforgiving / Odd / Fatigued  -

  • Oblivious - Comes with her lack of outside knowledge, there are many things she simply doesn’t understand or concepts that go completely over her head.
  • Distant - Possibly from having grown up with just her family, it’s not very easy for Egg to just welcome strangers into her life. She has a tendency to keep to herself and her own thoughts usually.
  • Unforgiving - EGG WILL REMEMBER THAT
  • Odd - Does things her own way, has a strange way of speaking, very much a fish out of water, and it’s a little off-putting sometimes.
  • Fatigued - Prone to overworking herself and not taking care of herself. Egg has other more important things to do than practice “self care.”

B I O G R A P H Y

- Eggliete, also known as “Egg,” was born and raised on a large farm on a small island with her equally large family. Farm tasks were evenly split among them, but Egg’s favorite was taking care of the chickens and running the family shop down at the island marketplace.
- Constantly shipping out their produce, shipments of goods often came their way as payment back. It was during one of these shipments that a Devil Fruit was smuggled inside of the cargo, and a young and curious Egg thought it was “the fanciest fruit she’d ever seen!” and promptly ate it.
- Turns out some rowdy folks were looking for that “fancy fruit” and traced it to Egg’s family’s farm. Egg was away on errands when they attacked, only for her to return home to the destroyed remains of her beloved farm. With no sign of her family or her animals, a distraught Egg breaks down, clinging to what little remains are left.
- Now alone and beyond depressed, she’s doing her best to use this “fancy fruit”’s powers to keep herself going for as long as she can. She may not have farm produce anymore for the island market, but, it turns out people are pretty fond of the odd trinkets she can conjure!
- Even so…it's hard living in squalor, all alone, constantly reminded of her possibly dead family and animals. She has so little here, and even the little things she obtains disappear eventually.
- It's the pirates fault. She hates pirates. If she could only get revenge on them for all they’d done to her, then maybe, finally, things could go back to normal. Or even better?!
- As such, a determined but broken little Egg finally decides to leave her beloved home and get what she wants…no matter what.

[ Gacha Gacha no Mi | Gacha Gacha Fruit ]

Type: Paramecia

Description: After eating, a strange little dial sprouted on the back of Egg’s neck. Turning this dial causes a large capsule to materialize in her hands, its contents unknown until it’s popped open.

Gacha Roulette: There are about 100 items in total that can materialize inside of a capsule, chosen completely at random. There is no way to predict just what will come out; it may benefit you, or cause you more trouble than it’s worth.

Limits: Aside from the usual Devil Fruit related weaknesses, the sheer randomness of turning the knob and having something appear is a risk in and of itself. There’s a decent chance of receiving something absolutely useless in a dire situation, or something that actively makes it worse. It’s up to creative thinking and adaptability to work with whatever’s given to you in those times!
