APPEARANCE:

Alex is a short male with pale skin and long soft green hair that goes down to his butt. His irises are normally a bright crystal blue, and his pupils behave like a cat’s. When he’s with those he trusts, he’ll reveal white cat-like ears, a long fluffy tail, a pair of dark grey horns, and a set of large bat-like wings. These traits are a part of his other form, but he feels most at ease in between forms.

His beast form is a giant white cat-like creature with long grey horns, bat-like wings, and unnaturally sharp teeth and claws. There is a hook-like claw on each wing which assists in hunting. His nose is also more bat-like. (This form was inspired by vampire bats and Turkish angora cats). Although his fluffy white pelt seems like fur, it’s actually more akin to long and tightly packed down feathers. This makes him extremely soft and warm, and he rarely sheds if at all.

PERSONALITY:

The first thing someone would notice about Alex is that he can be very closed off. In public, he’ll either be disguised as a completely different person (even swapping between genders) or extremely stoic/quiet. However he is very emotionally sensitive and can freak out over the smallest things. He finds himself very uncomfortable in his own skin and often changes appearances. 

On the flip side, he is very generous and kind. ‘Friendly’ is not really the right word for it, but once he does consider you a friend, you are treated like family. Making someone he considers a friend upset is somewhat of a fear. 

He is extremely loyal and protective over family and close friends. Normally he is afraid of acting aggressively in any way to anybody*, but if someone he loves is threatened, he will do everything he can to protect them. 

*He thinks acting aggressively goes against everything he stands for, and he will always try to solve tensions peacefully first (unless in dire circumstances). He fears he may not be able to control himself once on a rampage (which is sorta true to be fair).

Alex believes in peaceful coexistence between all kinds and species. He often gets teased for this on both sides of his species for this despite growing up in a vampire-human society. Vampires find his hybridization unsettling as many of them believe in having pure bloodlines untainted by any other species or magic. Many man-eaters think he has a weak disposition mentally and physically, and some find his dream of coexistence impossible. Nevertheless Alex is encouraged by his father who also holds the same goals of achieved peaceful existence.
