  • When drawing her, try to be true to her description, although I can forgive out-of-character mistakes when not notified prior.

Vàng is a unicorn that lives in a small mountain village, somewhere in Hoa Sen. She is usually serious and mature, but still nice.

On certain times she fights for her people when danger approaches, also doing it by herself when there's an intruder trying to get her.

Photographs make her feel awkward, especially certain things she is not familiar with (being shy but has become more confident with people)

Due to where she lives, she doesn't use that much technology, besides a phone (A friend or a stranger introduced her to that) Because of that one fact above, she gets clueless about internet slang and humor.

Design

Vàng has a light yellow coat with a off-white colored chest and a swirl-like pattern on her sides. The ears are partially brown and partially the same color as the rest of her body, its inner ear color being white. Her hooves are in a dark brown color.

Her eye color is in a golden shade, with a light red eyeshadow around her eyes.

She has dark brown hair that is tied into a ponytail, fading to an orange color at the ends of it. The hair-tie she has is red and styled somewhat like a ribbon.

Design Notes

  • Her magic color is red, as seen in her reference.
  • She can be drawn in a different hairstyle, but the ponytail is recommended.

History

Vàng hails from a small village somewhere in the mountains. (Name coming soon) She loves her family, but has been quite isolated from interacting with others, perferring to be with those she already knows. Since she loves her family and her community even if she doesn't interact with them all the time, she likes the idea of protecting others, so she took some martial arts classes to defend herself and her loved ones.

Despite the love she has for her community, her social awkwardness had caused her to be mocked at in school, and it caused her to get more irritable easily. Later on, there were times where her irritability and her loyalty to someone that the other opposes caused friendships to be broken, in return making Vàng more wary of others and becoming stern, trying to find ways how to stand up for herself but also be more mature.

At some point in life, she suddenly met some great friends in her area and places that she traveled. Ming, who came to visit the city areas of her country, and Brushie, that did the same thing Ming did. Because of this and many other things that happened in her life, she has become much better than what she was in the past, becoming nicer and more friendly to others, although she still remains shy and a little closed-off.

IMAGELINK

Yên

Her adopted sister, she loves her so much, that she would do anything to protect her. Although sometimes her meek and clumsy nature sometimes frustrates Vàng, she is still proud of her kindness to others.

IMAGELINK

Ming

She appreciates her bubbly and friendly attitude. It sometimes tires her but she still appreciates her presence... Except for the time when she has to take a selfie with her, that's the time when things get rough.

IMAGELINK

Brushie

Despite their different interests, she thinks that Brushie may be on the same wavelength as her, sharing a lot of the traits they have with each other. Her relations with her are generally good, although it seems like when she corrects Brushie on something, Brushie becomes a bit sensitive about it.

IMAGELINK

The rest of her family

She grew up with them, and loves them a lot, defending them when they're criticized or when trouble arises. They may have misunderstandings sometimes, but it is usually resolved.
