Kei is a student who was a loner in junior high. Up to graduation. While they had acquaintances, no one could say anything other than “They’re kind” or “They’re a good student”.
In actuality, Kei simply enjoys hanging out by themself.
Kei remembers their old friendships, but also their leaving as well. The first time they left, it did hurt to be lonely. The second time, they couldn't bond naturally. The third, fourth… They lost count.
One day Kei decided to explore “group” activities by themself. They tried hitori karaoke, where they sang alone, and found their favourite songs. They went to the cinema once in a while, and picked randomly for a refreshingly new experience.
Ever since then, Kei experimented with hobbies, either by finding them alone or being introduced by others. Only a few stayed with them, but something felt missing…
Kei's home is close to an idol school, Star Idol Academy (SIA). At first, they simply walked past the institution daily. They hadn’t looked further until their third year of junior high.
They were supposed to do a quick research, just to prepare for high school. But coincidentally Kei re-discovered SIA. They clicked out of curiosity, only to be fascinated by the curriculum. The school activities were exactly what they were looking for. They can’t stop thinking about enrollment.
