Clayton

Backstory

Clayton is part of a Litter of Three, to a family that had Two Dalmatians and a Cat who follows the “Wow Of Miaow”. The cat gave the litter a blessing and named an Uncle to the litter. Clayton was too young to remember this.

The humans donated Clayton to a shelter.
At the Shelter, the Cats & Dogs helped raise him, leading to him engaging in both Canine & Feline activities. Ranging from learning how to howl, swim, play fetch, tug rope, hide n’ seek from the dogs; to the cats teaching him how to play with Yarn Balls, Chasing Laser Pointers, Playing in Boxes, and how to catch himself when he trips.
Dogs taught him Emotional Intelligence, and how to balance energy (like telling him "Okay, you're getting a bit too hyper, now").
While Cats taught him Social Etiquette (manners) and utilising his Imagination.
Because of their help raising him, Clayton does consider the Shelter Cats & Dogs like Honorary Aunts & Uncles.

While also in the Shelter, One of the Caretakers would often read Comics and watch Super Hero Films/ Shows while on break, which Clayton would often watch in on, gaining a liking to the Super Hero Genre.

In the Series Continuity, The Shelter was broken into by Horace & Jasper, who abducted Clayton and any other Dalmatian Pups they could find in the Shelter. This leads to the events of the original "101 Dalmatians" Story, where he is taken to the Devil Manor for Cruella's Coat Plot, before being Rescued and adopted by Pongo & Perdita.
Because of their rescue, Clayton see Pongo & Perdita as real life Super Heroes.

In the Dalmatian Street Continuity, Clayton got sick with something, and the World Wide Woof was sent out that had Delilah come in to treat him. Clayton & Delilah quickly bonded, with Delilah having a wonderful handling of the Pup. Across the next couple of days, Delilah would visit Clayton, take him on some outings, introduce him to Doug and the rest of the family.
Clayton was soon officially adopted by the Dalmatian family.
Because of them working in Emergency services, Clayton see Delilah & Doug as real life Super Heroes.

Personality

Clayton tries what he can to be a Caring and Courteous Gentledog.

Clayton is a super geeky Pup. He loves Super Hero Comics, and does enjoy playing "Poodlewolf!", as well as watching shows such as "Air Dales".
Among his other interests, Clayton enjoys Amateur Film Making, using a camcorder he found to make either short films or video montages of special events he attended. He is also quite fond of Giant Animals, and has a liking to eating Chicken, Mints and drinking Tea.
He is also a bit of a Performing dog, enjoying to watch and partake in some Musical Performances, as well as having taken up Howling, and would most likely be up for Cosplaying.

While Clayton enjoy Adventure, Animation, Fantasy, Musical, Sci-Fi, and Slice Of Life Genres, he does get awkward around the Horror Genre.

On top of that, Clayton has strong dislike for Bullies', Bigots, or Defeatist Cynics.

Clayton is a Dalmatian, who shall often wear his heart of his sleeve, trying to be there for his friends and give advice to them if they need it.
He can however be quite sarcastic much of the time, prone to making a quip or riff in various situations, and does have anxiety, meaning if he gets worried about something, he can be for quite some time. He also faces self-doubt about himself, concerned about how genuinely skilled or helpful he may actually be.
He does sometimes get tense when put on the spot, and sometimes requires time to fully compose his thoughts on something.

Clayton is a Pup in touch with his feline side, He practices the "Wow Of Miaow", and while he enjoys Canine games like fetch, tug rope and hide n’ seek , he does engage in Cat Games too, like Yarn Balls, Chasing Laser Pointers to Playing in Boxes. Felines find they have a stronger affinity to him than most canines, and Clayton has come to find himself having a fancy for cats too (with his Romantic Partner being a Cat called Louis, and his Best Friend in Street Continuity being a Cat called Deidra).

Clayton can be quite clumsy at times too, but thanks to exploring his feline side, he is usually able to catch himself if he falls.

Out of the Canon Dalmatians, in the Dalmatian Street Timeline, he has the closest bond with Deepak, over their Inner Cats and shared morals values, as well as bonding with Dylan, about Nerd Stuff, such as Comics & Poodlewolf.
He also close with Destiny, Da Vinci & DJ for the artistic sides, and they sometimes help him make his Videos.

Inspired by his adoptive parents, as well as the Heroes he reads about, Clayton strives to do what he can to stand up for what he believes in, help those who are in genuinely need, and to do the Morally Right thing.
