Backstory: Lakekit was born to Autumnpelt and Sunspot, and has a sibling named Maplekit. He was born deaf, leading to a sense of estrangement from his peers, until upon wandering away from camp he was led home by a nice blue-eyed ghost. This was the Starclan cat Whiteeye, who was blinded in the Lotusclan territory fire, and felt a kinship with the kit. Whiteeye became Lakekit’s interpreter of sorts, only capable of allowing specific cats to see or hear him, but able to relay to Lakekit what other cats are saying (when he is around, anyways.) Lakekit has a friend named Vulture as well, who is a blind ex-rogue. Together, they are working on a tactile language so the pair can communicate without the help of Whiteeye, involving carving lines into sticks. The only other cat who knows of Whiteeye’s existence is Maplekit, due to them being able to see ghosts. Lakekit hopes to become a great warrior one day.
