Story
Reinhard was born and raised in Hamburg as the only child of Birgit and Friedrich. Rein's mother was an aspiring pianist but was forced to choose a different profession and his father worked as an advocate. Reinhard dreamed about becoming an inventor since childhood and eventually, he graduated in robotics at a university in Berlin. After working a few different jobs, he became a robot designer in a team working on developing intelligent machines.
Personality
Reinhard's MBTI type is INTJ. He likes to be in the center of attention and can be arrogant at times. He's a perfectionist at work and prefers to do the job individually. Rein gets easily attached to people – his loved ones mean the world to him.
Appearance
Rein is very tall and slim. He has heterochromia – his left eye is blue and the right one is green. A scar on his lips is a result of an accident at work.

Colin Stieglitz

Reinhard's boyfriend (later husband). They met because of mutual friends two years before Rein's graduation. After being friends for a quite long time they became a couple and started living together. Their personalities are different like night and day – Colin's down to earth attitude balances Rein's chaotic character.
Nina Zimmerling

Nina is Reinhard's closest friend. They know each other since high school and shared an apartment while studying at university.
Heban

Heban used to be a stray cat until Reinhard adopted him. Rein loves Heban more that anything and has a tendency to spoil him. He often calls his cat a kleinen Brot.

Ira and Reinhard are a part of the same team working on developing intelligent robots and combining biology with technology.
Birgit Morgenstern

Rein's mother. She taught him to play the piano. They were very close, however they also used to have intense conflict because of their strong temper.

Rein's father is a lawyer. He was always distant and restrained in showing emotions so his relationship with Rein was complicated.
