Heermann's gulls are easy to tell apart from other gulls, with their bright red bill and grey breast. they breed in the south and fly north for the nonbreeding season.

this gull talks tough and looks tougher, but they devote their time to doing wildfire search and rescue, snatching stranded survivors from the smoke with the help of the fake back claws they wear on the job. people probably thought they couldn't do a job like this because they're a gull, probably raptors do it most often lol.
