Alan is a Panther animatronic who enjoys playing music! He seems to be related to Flynn in some way, with both being Panthers and also parts of their colour scheme. And their claws.
Alan is the younger of the two Panthers, so of course he looks up to Flynn and Monty and the other Glamrock Animatronics he sees around.
