Melpomene

Melpomene is a bard that comes from a traveling circus troupe of oddball performers. His act was always with a blade: juggling, swallowing, throwing, anything he could do with one, and he retains his fixation on knives even after leaving. He was also adept at fortune telling, though most often he painted his patrons a picture of their inevitable and untimely demise. Mel's true talent is his deception. Lying comes as easily to him as breathing and he does it nearly as often. Growing up as a tiefling, he was always mocked for looking like a devil, so he decided to act like one. Despite his overwhelming charisma, he often chooses to lie and cheat his way through situations and most often acts in favor of personal gain. Just because he fancies himself a devil doesn't mean that falling into a pact with one was his brightest idea, but his hubris leads him to believe that he can outsmart anybody.
