Eases the passing of souls into the afterlife - a psychopomp, but not a reaper. Seeks out troubled souls and helps them cross over.

Stuck between life and death - now spends a lot of time in the Faerie Otherworld, but isn't considered to be one of them - merely "touched" by their essence. Animals are naturally drawn to him bc of this. Despite his partially undead state, he is still considered mortal - he breathes, eats (though he only needs to eat to stop the rot from spreading), and his heart beats like any other. But he does not age.

If the Time God was the first mortal ever created (though he didn't stay that way), Khidara was the second. He has been alive since the dawn of time, but has still retained his mortal way of thinking.

Became partially undead due to the Elders' love - Althaea, the agriculture goddess, could not bear to see mortals wither and die before her. She tried to preserve Khidara's life by extending it... with unintended side effects.

He wanders the realms now, mainly Nari and the Faerie Otherworld.
