vila wasn't raised like a typical githyanki-- her entire creche was destroyed when she was just an egg, and she was later found by some monks from a nearby monastery who were looking for survivors or supplies. they took her in and raised her as one of their own. being raised by a bunch of monks, she had a pretty strict upbringing, though of course it was wildly different from what most gith children experience. she's more or less unaware of how most githyanki live, only knowing a few things.
she's pretty mellow and calm by nature. she's very in-tune with her surroundings and her own body. meditates a lot. it's pretty hard to faze her. she tries to be levelheaded as much as she possibly can. however, she's also quite naive.
she tends to treat others how they treat her-- if someone is hostile towards her (which is fairly common), she's not going to play nice. she's not purposely mean or violent, she can just be quite blunt and unkind. she's aloof by default, even a bit passive. she tends to wait and assess a situation (or let someone else take charge) before acting. she can be a bit of a follower, and likes being around very decisive or hardheaded people.
she often looks a bit nervous or shy, but she's not. her face just looks like that.
