Mai

Mai is a Hepian from Kanjaweii, Planet Hepi, who officially got involved with the members of SBARG on July 29, 2020. Before then, he only knew a couple people from that group. He uses the chumhandle rebelliousNoise and uses the color #ed0442. Mai is a talented artist who does freelancing work with his skills.

BACKGROUND

Born as the youngest (by five minutes) of a pair of twins, Mai grew up in Kanjaweii, AKA the rural village of flowers. Ever since he was little, he had always had a great interest in the visual arts and creating art. Throughout his lifetime, he has spent a lot of time improving and growing his artistic and creative skills. He is well known around Kanjaweii for his artistic ability and often is seen helping out with various artistic endeavors around the village, as he is skilled in a variety of mediums. Mai also does freelancing work with his skills. 

Mai first met only one member of the SBARG group through his sister Mei, and that was Katyleen Kitten. It would be a while later after meeting Katie that he then meets Thoren Emit, and that was when him and his Cube Device's AI, named KAZ, hacked Mei's Twitter account after she had been whisked away to the Figment Dimension. Some time after that, he then meets Rise Emit after they offer to help convince Mei's workplace to allow Mai on a strange mission with his sister on Twitter. Fast forward to July 29, 2020, after Mai modified the hardware of his device with the same kind of chip that Mei used for her's, he downloaded Pestercord by his sister's suggestion and contacted a memo called #dungeon_crashers_memo under the name rebelliousNoise.

PERSONALITY

Mai is more introverted than his sister Mei. He is still quite friendly, but values his alone time. While he is friendly, he still can come off as abrasive, eccentric, and even sometimes rude. Mai does mean well most of the time, though. He has a temper, but with that, he can also be very passionate. Mai is creative and smart, even if it doesn't always seem like he is smart. He tends to downplay his own intelligence a lot. Mai is also very talented artistically, and a pretty good teacher. Mai has very low self esteem, but usually hides it with his strange and silly sense of humor.

APPEARANCE

Mai is 4 feet tall in height, has long, wavy turquoise hair, and pale blue skin with light orange, triangular markings. He has a single tail and six, pointed ears, three per each side of her head. He has iridescent, purplish eyes with square pupils. 

POWERS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Mai currently does not have any powers.

However, as mentioned before, Mai is very talented in visual arts. He can work in a number of different mediums, being the most skilled in drawing and painting. Mai also knows how to play percussion and piano/keyboard, but is a bit rusty on the latter. He has also picked up a few video game development skills from his boyfriend, Nico.

Mai, like every other Hepian, has an ability called bond sense, which is a sort of heightened empathy for other Hepians and other life forms.  Being an identical twin to Mei, his bond sense is much stronger with his sister, making it easy to tune into Mei's feelings. As for other typical Hepian abilities, Mai also has a great sense of hearing, and can easily mimic sounds and voices. Mai is also pretty strong.

MISC. INFO

• Mai was sent off to Planet Earth with his sister Mei at the last minute. He didn't even know English at the time.
• Mai learned English through media and memes, along with some teachings from his sister.
