Born into a rich family, Ciel is ultimately disregarded by his parents. They only speak to him at dinner and breakfast, only acknowledge him when necessary or he's done something wrong, and quite honestly he'd prefer if they left him alone completely. The Royalheart Family has had a lineage of monopoly over wine, publishing the Royalheart Winery a century ago and living off the riches since. However riches always run out, and a series of arranged marriages have happened countless times within the bloodline, Ciel is no different.
His arranged fiancée is a philly named White Dreams, and though the first time they met they were a little aloof of each other, they've grown to become good friends and bond over the lack of attention they get from their families, as well as get into all sorts of trouble together.
Ciel likes to avoid his parents' gaze, especially when they seem to be talking about his before lost older brother, who went out in the service and never came back.
