His personality is very cold hearted and manipulative.
As a child he was raised far away from his family in a temple by monks (actually a religious sect), because his parents had too little money for a child.
He lost his friendly and heartwarming personality when he realized that only the „supposedly“ strong ones were provided with food and warm clothes by the monks. He learned to manipulate the other children to save himself and to profit from it. He adapted to this behavior and made it part of his personality. He was often beaten up as a child by his peers or by the monks. His heart closed and remained cold.
Now he runs the temple complex himself, after slaughtering the monks and anyone who got in his way in a bloody massacre. The temple sells obscure potions and sigils that can kill or injure people. It is said that he performs rituals with human sacrifices to prolong his life.
It is also said that he has his eye on a visitor to the temple. The thoughts about her slowly make him go crazy and fanatic.
