Dawnpaw loves carving out her own path and searching for adventure, whether that be beyond the clan walls or sneaking into the healers’ den to see what they’re getting up to. She has a dream of one day visiting each clan’s territory — but, in the meantime, the healers’ den will have to suffice! When the time comes for it, Dawnpaw doesn’t back down from a challenge! She is able to stare in the eyes of a foe and not flinch !… which is absolutely terrible if you’re a 3 inch tall kitten. Dawnpaw has a sharp tongue and is quick with comebacks to remarks and jokes, and is a natural born entertainer — she most enjoys putting on little shows for her mother and father!

Dawnpaw is deceptive … but not in an evil, villainous way, of course — it’s in a fun way! Ever since she could first walk, Dawnpaw has been obsessed with ‘magic’ tricks, and has grown phenomenally good at them. Most of these are just minor sleight of hand tricks, but every good magician must be at least a little deceptive! Dawnpaw’s ambitions are not the typical ambitions of a young kit — rather than leadership or power, Dawnpaw just wants to be known for her talents! Dawnpaw’s disobedience comes from a place of not malice or spite, but simply wanting to know more about the world, and leads to her seeking out what she is not told. More often than not, though, her disobedience comes across as arrogance rather than good-natured curiosity.

Dawnpaw is ‘crass’ in the sense that she tends to not think about her words very often, leading to some … unfortunate situations — she has a tendency to not being able to keep secrets or her thoughts to herself. Dawnpaw is terribly scatterbrained, and has a habit of forgetting things, whether that be planned events, where she placed her prey or rules regarding the clans. Because of this, she is an unintentional career rulebreaker, much to her own disappointment. When viewing Dawnpaw doing anything other than her ‘magic tricks’, it wouldn’t be farfetched to assume the kit has two left feet (four left paws?). She tumbles, and nothing picked-up will be left un-dropped … best not to give her anything fragile.
