Ellen "Ell" (nickname) Ripley is one of the daughters Sea has had over the years. She accompanies her sometimes as secretary - which is why she is very proficient in martial arts etc. While she may not have any abilities that are considered 'other' by "Designed" standards- she does seem to have a prolonged life- as she was born a century or so after their creators started to leave their genetic experiments to their own visions. She is estimated to be a couple hundred years old and was raised in her adolescence by her father- whom was of 'average' lifespan for their people. After he passed in her late teens (due to a work accident- he was an 'early' for their people astronaut) - Sea came to take her to live with her.
Sea named her Ellen, because at the time she had been using the last name of Ripley- a character from the old earth horror film series "Aliens."
Ell takes completely after her father, which is naturally so. The children either look like the mother or the father, true combinations are considered extremely rare and are often signs that they have inherited predominantly "Designed" traits.
