- Childhood friend of Rex - his family would visit Galar most summers, so he befriended Rex and Hop then.
- Was actually transported into an alternate reality at the age of ten, to go through the events of "Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team". He spent several years there as a Cyndaquil/Quilava building up his Rescue Team - "Team Savior" - via the main storyline as well as some postgame events.
-Around the ages of 16-17, however, Arceus drags him back to his reality - but not time - dropping him into Hisui to go through the events of "Legends: Arceus". He completes all the research tasks and requests and spends a couple years in Jubilife as a valued Survey Corps. member, even trying to jumpstart a prototype pokemon daycare in the process, but going through banishment and betrayal a second time - even more harshly than the first time - leads to him being rather detached to the community overall.
