Appearance:

Astra is tall for her age. Her body is delicate and her figure slim. She doesn't care much for fashion, so she prioritises comfortable clothes over fashionable ones.

Astra always wears simple, practical hairstyles. Typically she twists her hair into a braid because it is easy to do and keeps her hair out of her face. As she wears it so often, her tentacles sometimes look wavy, even though it is naturally straight.

Personality:
Astra is a very sweet, kind and empathetic inkling, except the world may never know it; she's incredibly shy and has gets nervous talking to people. Her awkwardness makes it difficult for her make friends and as a result, she doesn't have many. The one place, however, that Astra feels comfortable to talk with confidence is in the classroom. She's often the first to put her hand up and eagerly answers the teacher's questions. That said, if there is any doubt that she may be wrong, Astra keeps quiet; she hates being wrong about anything and gets embarrassed easily.

She is a very studious worker and a smart girl. In fact, she genuinely enjoys learning so she doesn't mind staying at home with her books. As such, Astra scores consistently high in all her subjects (barring Phys Ed). She's a little overzealous with her marks though, and gets very discouraged if she thinks she didn't do good enough. Her expectations are often very high as well.

Unlike most kids, Astra isn’t interested in in Turf Wars. Astra is much happier sitting in her room with a couple of books than she is running around outside. The only reason she ever got involved is because her father was worried about her spending so much time in her room, so her step mother got her a place on a team. Astra is not the best player; she has terrible aim and struggles to read the game, but she tries her best anyway because she doesn’t want to let her team down.

Astra is a geek over the things she enjoys; when prompted, she will talk non stop about her interests. She loves all kinds of boardgames and card games, but favours complex strategy games. She loves sci-fi and fantasy and is an avid roleplayer; she is a member of several RPG forums, but she keeps these accounts secret. Astra has a slew of OCs but has never finished writing a story for any of them.

Backstory:
When Astra was 10, her mother and father broke up. This was a difficult time for her, however her parents made sure that they put Astra before themselves. Though her mother has since moved out of Inkopolis, whenever she visits they catch up for family outings, and Astra’s father makes sure that Astra calls her mum almost every day. Astra lives in her father's apartment with his new girlfriend, and while she and Astra don't always agree on everything, they mostly get along.

Strengths:
The luna blaster is a powerful and fast weapon. The power of her weapon means that Astra is able to claim trades when she would otherwise be splatted, and quickly claim splats when she is able to surprise the enemy. With her splat bombs, she can force enemies to come into her range, making it easier for Astra to claim splats.

Weaknesses: 
Astra is not a skilled player, and has a poor feel for the game. She will often make poor judgements on the match, resulting in her getting splatted and losing the push. Her weapon’s short range means that it is easy for foes to pick off Astra on approach, however she has difficulty successfully pulling off flanks.

Fun Facts:

 Her favourite classes to play in LnL (Leagues and Leviathans) are support classes, typically a mage or medic.
 Despite her studious nature, Astra never finishes her personal projects. She enjoys writing stories, but is prone to abandoning them midway in favour of newer, better ideas.
 Is most likely to injure herself on the battlefield.
