Due to his bloodline, he had to endure a long and difficult upbringing, where he learned to hide his true nature and blend in with the humans of Mondstadt. Despite his challenges, he never lost sight of his dream to become a knight and help protect the city and its people. Or is that what he wants people to think?

It’s foretold he isn’t human, and he had ties to something darker…. 

In all reality he is a proud member of the Fatui and has a very strong reputation to be full of rage and hidden agendas. He wasn’t ordered to go undercover yet he has done it anyway in an attempt to break Mondstadt down from the inside. 

He isn’t human at all, a half blood vampire with a need for attention and well... blood. 

His lover? A secret. No one but them know and that’s how they keep it. Nate doesn’t like it this way but his partner says it’s for the best so nothing can go wrong within the ranks.

• He might appear reserved and introverted on the surface, but beneath his quiet exterior, he is actually a highly social and friendly individual. However, with certain people, he can act self-conscious and insecure. This can be a result of past traumatic experiences or simply feeling out of place in a new social situation. When around those he is comfortable with, Nate’s  friendly and cheerful side comes out.
• He is friendly when he needs to be but he is harsh. It stems from his own insecurities. 
• His social nature tends to be mixed with a bit of insecurity, as he often worries about how others perceive him. This can make him come across as withdrawn or reserved at times, even though he wants to connect with others. Despite this, he still makes an effort to interact with those around him and build meaningful relationships, even if he's not always sure that he's doing the right thing. In the end, he just wants to be accepted and loved for who he is, flaws and all.
• He has a big love for food and loves to eat from Good Hunter.
• He enjoys watching bats as they fly around Mondstadt at night, finding their mysterious and graceful movements to be captivating.
• On warm summer nights, he sometimes sits on the rooftop of the Knights' Headquarters and watches the bats fly in the moonlight, allowing their peaceful presence to cleanse his mind and spirit.
• If someone asks him why he loves bats, he will simply say that they remind him of himself.

• The constellation of the bat is a symbol of protection and guidance in the night, and this reflects the role of the knights in Mondstadt as they work to maintain peace and security in the city. The bat also represents the darkness of night and the unknown, which is reflective of his own mysterious and secretive nature. Together, these elements reflect his dedication to protecting the people of Mondstadt while also keeping his true nature hidden.
