Introduction
So, quick species infodump: Their design is largely inspired by a mixture of the vulture and aardwolf patterns, colors alterered to a hue of purple/indigo for no better reason than I like the color. They used to be part wolf too, but I realized I related to the aardwolf more. Due to their aardwolf half, diet wise, they've taken a liking to bugs, and possess the ability to digest bone, from the vulture part. I sort of headcanon that they get their color from purple sand or mud deposits, like bearded vultures coat themselves in to make their feathers that orange color. They can too make bird and canid vocalizations!
Personality
Deli is generally pretty down to earth. They don't really express their emotions outwardly much, though they struggle with social anxiety, which is part of the reason they bear a nervous expression in their reference picture and art, but once their nerves settle they love talking with others and sharing interests, but do need time to themselves, and in that time usually enjoy drawing, games, tv, house plant keeping, and sleeping plenty. They love learning and always try to have an open mind and positive outlook on life, themselves, and the things about them.
