Profile

Alonso Quijano, an eccentric and erratic detective fallen from grace, Kurtis' obnoxious partner. His presence alone fundamentally changes the genre. Back in his glory days, he was a placid country gentleman who was feared in his workplace, much to his dismay.

His home is a treasure cove of law and true crime books, eventually spiralling into other eras of justice; chivalry and knights, and one certain dusty book he had found in the attic of his old home held up high in the finest shelf he has (what a nerd). He constantly annoys his 'squire' and always has barley and hay in stock for his beloved Rocinante- not a horse, just a bike standing on its last tires. His niece fears that once he gets over his knightly phase, he'll become a shepherd frolicking in the meadows, maybe even a poet, which she thinks is an incurable disease.
