Neptune was a marine biologist and diver who worked on exploring unknown places in the ocean to discover new species in general, he has a lot of affinity and respect for them. Green cat is their lab partner with who he works and do stuff After Neptune dies in the diving bell (haha) accident, green cat gets miscarried on a more greedy side as he doesn’t care anymore on marine biology since that was Neptune interest really and he was kind of a Lower rank Green cat sells his investigation and start working on getting fuel from the ocean even if this breaks and kills the ecosystem Neptune fell on Poseidon trident so like he got a second chance in life in exchange to protect the oceans since Poseidon is kinda sealed rn so, green cat and Neptune are on opposite sides but while Neptune cares deeply over green cat, green cat is like mmm but i could be a millionaire now and he chooses his new job over Neptune making them fight Overall it ends on Neptune having to kill who he thought was his best friend but in really was using him for clout After that he retires to the ocean a bit more bitter and now he doesn’t care much about people no more so he just sink ships who try to do what green cat did but slowly adapts to his new lifestyle and becomes at peace with his second chance.
