Pop didn't really gain a consiousness until she was 15, when she listened to the squid sister's music. After that if felt like she has opened her eyes for the first time. When she woke up, she was deep underground, being woken up by a weird old dude. He told her about a land above the surface, and dreamed of going to it. So with the old man, she traveled to find a way up, along with two people on a walkie talkie that wanted to help too. It took a while but she did make it, meeting new friend along the way, even one of Captain Cuttlefish's old agents, Agent 3. The two became inseparable after Pop made it to the surface.
