my first v5 character i’m properly playing! he got a messy crit on his first hunting roll and accidentally killed a man so it’s all downhill from here.
set in a play by post game beginning one week after the beckoning, with a previously thriving domain now scrabbling to keep from falling apart.
- looks like an incredibly normal office worker but has the worst vibes you’ve ever experienced (he has twice-cursed so he has Both malkavian banes)
- hears the cobweb through various things around him, mostly radio static from the portable radio he carries with him all the time
- he also hears… other things (cobweb loresheet… dot 5… he’s malkav*’s special little boy babeyy)
- he’s kind of based on numbers stations and is obsessed with codes and encryption - he’s convinced he can figure out some Great Plan if he picks up on all the data and does the right calculation
- constantly making notes to help him with this, but they’re all in code so it’s basically a meaningless string of numbers to everyone else
- mostly dominate-specced with a few dots in auspex
- has a personal rule against lying, and will never lie to someone’s face
- his sire (who he has. a complex relationship with. see below) basically dropped him off in the domain a couple of months ago and told him she’d be back soon

quintus & ianthe
Ianthe is Quintus’ sire, and the most important person in his life. Intensely intelligent, deeply mysterious, and absolutely unwavering in her goals, ever since she embraced him 24 years ago, he’s orbited her like the sun. Their relationship would be deeply unequal even if it weren’t for the fact that Quintus has been heavily blood bonded to her for most of those years. Regardless of any warning signs, he’s fully devoted to her - trusting her more than he trusts himself, to tell the truth. Though maybe her tendency to meddle with his mind and his memories has something to do with that.
After six months of separation, the blood bond finally broke on New Year’s Eve, 2024, and Ianthe returned to Quintus’ side as if this had all been part of the plan. Without the blood bond to smooth over his concerns, and his coterie certain she’s no good for him, Quintus has been forced to consider their relationship in a new light, but for now, he’s clinging to the safe and familiar status quo for as long as he can.
